SCRC Montreal Chapter 354 is proud to promote safe riding! We encourage new motorcycle riders to join us on outings appropriate for their individual riding levels and competencies.
Rides that we post will always refer to a 'level of difficulty', allowing new and seasoned riders alike to join based on individual riding skills.

Speed: You go to your own speed, the group will wait for you.
Distance: Approximately 300km.
Duration: Short day.
Minimum Requirements: SAAQ requirements.
Comment: This is the ride to gain valuable experience and to build confidence. If you like speed this ride is not for you. If you have an apprentice license, let us know. We may be able to help by having an experienced rider escort you to and from your home base.
Speed: Radar tolerance speed or less.
Distance: 300 to 600km.
Duration: Full day typically back for dinner.
Minimum Requirements: Able to ride for long periods at highway speed limit. Riders should have fair riding experience in turns and hills.
Comment: Easy-going, but not for rookies. Radar tolerance speed is fast enough.
Speed: Radar tolerance speed as much as possible. Little room for adjusting speed to individual rider levels.
Distance: 500 to 700km.
Duration: Full day, may be back at night.
Minimum Requirements: Able to maintain radar tolerance speed at all times, comfortable in turns and hills.
Comment: We ride faster, for longer periods and don't slow down as much through difficult terrain. Intermediate +.
Speed: Radar tolerance as much as possible. Little room for adjusting speed to individual rider levels.
Duration: 2-3 days
Minimum Requirements: Able to maintain radar tolerace speed at all times, very comfortable in turns and hills.
Comment: This is definitively for experienced riders. Riding for 2-3 days at radar tolerance speed, sometimes in inclement weather and requires more energy and concentration.
Sport rides are not sanctioned by SCRC Montreal Chapter 354. Members that wish to post sports rides or participate in a sport ride do so at their own risk; the ride will not be considered as a club ride. It is strongly recommended to determine what the ride leader's intention is prior to participating!
